Heather spent two years working at a New York firm on small-scale, private commercial projects.  This allowed her to gain expertise designing efficient working and living spaces, as well as see projects through each design phase, from initial conception to final furniture installation.  Heather returned to Denver in 2007 and began working at a mid-size firm on public commercial projects, specifically K-12 and higher education buildings.  While working in the public realm, she gained valuable insight into project constraints, such as budgetary and maintenance requirements, as well as the unique public design process.
